BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration Program: Buying a Business in BC

The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Entrepreneur Immigration Program allows foreign nationals to obtain a provincial nomination for permanent residency by purchasing and operating an eligible BC business. BizBuy.ca specializes in finding, structuring, and closing acquisitions that meet program requirements.

BizBuy.ca provides business acquisition consulting only — not immigration advice. Work with a licensed RCIC or immigration lawyer for program eligibility and application guidance. Program requirements change; verify current requirements at welcomebc.ca.

The BC PNP Entrepreneur Acquisition Process

01

Confirm Eligibility with RCIC

Your immigration consultant confirms your net worth, management experience, and pathway before we invest time in the business search.

02

Program-Aligned Business Search

We search for businesses that meet the investment threshold, are in an eligible industry, and can credibly generate income for an active owner-operator.

03

LOI, Due Diligence & Deal Structure

We structure the deal to clearly document the personal investment, equity ownership, and your active management role — all required for the program.

04

Closing & Business Plan Submission

We help compile the post-close evidence package (purchase agreement, incorporation, bank account, employment registration) for your immigration application.

05

Performance Agreement Period

After nomination, there's typically a 2-year performance agreement. We advise on operational milestones during this period.

06

PR Application

Successful performance agreement completion leads to a PR application. Your RCIC leads this; we provide business performance documentation.
